I started this blog in my twenties and then life happened. somehow I’m hurtling towards thirty-three and lightly terrified of missing out on my life. days run by until I realize it’s been six months and where did the time go?

as this year continues, I really want to focus on the details. notice the day that the weather changes. recognize the small happys that occur - a delicious coffee, a beautiful sunset, a satisfying back crack, a melody that makes all the hair on my arms stand up. I want to dig in to my hobbies, remember what makes me tick outside of [wake up for job, do job, take post-nap job, wait for next day, etc]. I’ve been saying it all year, but now I mean it: it’s the goddamn year of the hobby, get with it.
